Another Tote: Linen Version

Today I worked on a linen version of my tote bag. I love the colors in the floral cotton contrast fabric and I decided to use it on the outside of the handles. There are varying of shades of celedon and olive greens, taupe, beige and ivory and it compliments and adds some interest to the beige linen fabric.

The inside is roomy with another large pocket made out of linen. The inner pocket is divided into thirds instead of the halves.

I made another yellow and gray bag because I had enough fabric to do so. I am building my tote bag inventory one bag at a time!

I am adapting to my new sewing machine and finding it much easier to sew with. It is so nice NOT to have take out the bobbin and cut a mass of thread off the back while I am sewing. This machine is also much faster to thread. So far, I really like it a lot!

In case you are new to my blog or missed my post about purchasing my new sewing machine, this is the machine I am now using.
