Boy, how time flies! I had fully intended to do a "Christmas in July" entry and time just got away from me! The end of July is always a busy time for us. We have birthdays during the last week, we go away for a few days and this year we had a family reunion in the middle of all that!
I had planned to make some simple Christmas ornaments and get a head start on sewing and crafting some Christmas gifts but that did not happen. So in lieu of all that, I will leave you with these photos of my sweet boy, Willie. In the photo below, he was hovering over some ornaments that I was putting away last Christmas because he does love our Christmas tree and all of the trimmings, and he didn't want me to put them away!. Having been diagnosed with bone cancer one year ago, he was not supposed to be with us last Christmas but we were blessed with his presence and we were ever so grateful!
I will dedicate my tardy "Christmas in July" spot to WILLIE who has celebrated 7 Christmases with us and has as much fun opening his stocking and presents as any kid does on Christmas morning! I hope that he will be with us again as our family celebrates the 2012 holidays! He brings so much joy and laughter to our Christmas mornings! He couldn't be more loved or spoiled!

"My idea of Christmas, whether old-fashioned or modern, is very simple: loving others. Come to think of it, why do we have to wait for Christmas to do that?"
